Ahh the mighty Crown Vic!
This car is not much to look at but we really enjoyed it. Ashlynn, being 8 years old has never been in a good old "land yacht" before. At first glance she was none to impressed, but once she saw all the buttons, and felt the smooth ride, she wanted me to ask if we could buy it.
I used to have a 85 Cutlas Supreme so this reminded me of the good old days. The car started right up and ran great.
Due to great local support Columbus has 3 courtesy cars. The Crown Vic, a Buick Wagon and a Ford Aerostar van as well. I was quite happy with our choice as we roamed the streets of Columbus in the lap of Luxury.

Regardless of Donald's (Donald McCune Airport Manager) best efforts, we never got the LeSabre to start. It looked comfy and sporty red however the cold temperature and a mysterious tendency to discharge over time had rendered the battery useless.
Many many thanks to Donald for driving us to town and recommending the Ennis Cafe. We were so hungry I was about to get out my hitch hiking thumb.
The Ennis Cafe was great. If you are there for breakfast we strongly recommend that you get one of their "skillet" breakfasts. Donald graciously picked us up and ferried us back to the airport after breakfast. If you are lucky on your trip to Ennis, the LeSabre will be dead and you will get a free ride to town too! Thanks again Donald!

Good stuff: Man this thing is loaded! Plush thick cushioned blue velvet captains chairs, Pioneer AM/FM radio with cassette, speakers all the way around, personal reading lamps, captains and full length rear seats (long enough to comfortably take a nap on), matching curtains, a fuzz buster, twin tinted sunroof, tinted windows, seperate rear acces controls for heating, AC, Television, screwed on after market wood trim on everything (absolutely everything), and a slew of other stuff. It has room for 7 comfortably, 10 if you want to get cozy, nice nobby snow tires, a few advertisements from local sponsors and a happenin beige paint job. This thing is pimp!
Eccentricities: All passengers entering the vehicle must be let in because only the driver's side door opens from the outside. Which in itself is actually kinda cool.... for some reason.
Overall Score: 10
Performance: It works
Style: Awesome
Ammenities: Over the top
Pimpness: It's the Shiz
Doors on passenger side: Not so much
Thanks Townsend! We enjoyed your courtesy car, and pilot's lounge we'll be back!
