Columbus: The 307

I have a favorite restaurant in Columbus, and it wasn't the 307. That's not their fault, I just never got past the Apple Village restaurant when on my motorcycle trips in the summer.
Unhappily however hard times have caught up with the Apple Village, so we tried out the 307, which seems like the next best thing down the road.
Nice atmosphere, friendly enough service, all in all not disappointing. I wasn't happy to pay ten bucks for a burger that I could have made myself though. Two pieces of bread, a hunk of burger and some sliced vegetables. Seven or eight bucks, sure. Ten? No.
I think someone needs to open up some competition. Won't be me, I'm broke. I'm the idiot that actually paid $100 bucks for that burger once you add up the fuel and club fee! But that's not the idea is it?

Ennis: The Ennis Cafe

Donald McCune (Airport Manager). Was gracious enough to drive us to town and drop us off at a personal favorite, the Ennis Cafe. Nice place, local mood and EXCELLENT skillet breakfast.
The best cowboy wagon train diorama above the windows display in town! No contest.
The service was great and they didn't make us wait too long. Which is good because we were crazy hungry.

Townsend: Cowboy Restaurant

Tony, back at the pilot's Lounge recommended the Cowboy so we checked it out.
To be fair, we didn't have much time to stick around since we were in a bit of a hurry due to the weather, however we feel like had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed ourselves even more. The pumpkin pie was good and the Coffee was great. It seemed like the quintessential small town restaurant which is everything we expected except....they have an espresso machine! We ordered coffee, but it didn't come from any overbaked pot of drip sludge. When any of us return we'll probably order some thing like a cappuccino or latte.
